LV/MV – Power Distribution

Sincos stands out as a leading provider of industrial power distribution panels, combining expertise, customization, and advanced automation to meet the evolving needs of modern industries. Whether for large-scale manufacturing facilities or smaller industrial applications, Sincos is dedicated to delivering reliable and efficient power distribution solutions.

Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear Panels

A Low Voltage Switchgear Panel is an assembly of electrical components designed to control, protect, and isolate lowvoltage electrical circuits (typically operating at voltages up to 1,000V AC or 1,500V DC). These panels play a critical role in managing power distribution and ensuring the safe operation of electrical systems in industrial, commercial, and residential applications.

We Offer LV Switchgear Including

1
Power Control Center (PCC)
Distributes power to various feeders and main equipment in industrial applications
2
Motor Control Center (MCC)
Controls and protects motor circuits. Includes Direct-OnLine (DOL) starters, star-delta starters, and VFD panels.
3
Distribution Boards
Used for sub-distribution of power to different areas or loads.
4
Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Panels
Automatically switches between power sources (e.g., main supply and generator).

Medium Voltage (LV) Switchgear Panels

A Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear Panel is an assembly of electrical devices designed to control, protect, and isolate electrical equipment and circuits operating at medium voltage levels, typically ranging from 1 kV to 36 kV. These panels are critical for power distribution in industrial, utility, and commercial applications, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficient operation.

We offer MV Switchgear Includings

1
Air-Insulated Switchgear (AIS)
Relies on air as the primary insulation medium. Costeffective but requires more space.
2
Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS)
Uses SF₆ gas for insulation, offering compact design and higher reliability. Ideal for space-constrained environments.
3
Metal-Clad Switchgear
Each compartment (busbars, circuit breakers, control equipment) is individually enclosed for enhanced safety.
4
Hybrid Switchgear
Combines features of AIS and GIS for optimized performance and cost.

Our Work Process for LV/MV Switchgear

Initial Assessment and Requirement Gathering
  • Conduct site surveys to evaluate the electrical system's needs
    and existing infrastructure.
  • Review system specifications, load profiles, and client
    requirements.
  • Analyze single-line diagrams (SLDs) and determine the
    appropriate switchgear configuration (e.g., withdrawable/fixed
    type, air-insulated/GIS).
Initial Assessment and Requirement Gathering
Design and Engineering
  • Perform detailed engineering to design the switchgear
layout, incorporating fault-level calculations and shortcircuit analysis.
  • Select appropriate switchgear components such as
    circuit breakers (ACB/VCB/SF6), contactors, and
    protection relays.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards like IEC 61439,
    IEC 62271, or ANSI/IEEE C37.
  • Prepare CAD drawings for busbar routing, internal wiring,
    and panel arrangements.
Design and Engineering
Manufacturing and Assembly
  • Procure high-quality components from trusted vendors,
    ensuring compatibility and reliability.
  • Manufacture enclosures with suitable IP/IK ratings based
    on environmental conditions.
  • Assemble components, ensuring proper clearances,
    phase segregation, and earthing provisions.
  • Conduct internal wiring and labeling of circuits for ease of
    operation and maintenance.
Manufacturing and Assembly
Quality Assurance and Testing
  • Perform routine and type testing on the switchgear as per standards, including:
    • Dielectric tests (voltage withstand).
    • Insulation resistance measurements.
    • Contact resistance tests for busbars and joints.
    • Functionality tests for protection relays and interlocking mechanisms.
  • Perform a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) to verify operational performance before shipmen
Quality Assurance and Testing
Delivery and Installation
  • Deliver the switchgear to the site, ensuring safe transportation and handling to avoid damage.
  • Install the switchgear on-site, including mounting, busbar
    connections, and cable terminations.
  • Ensure proper alignment, earthing, and adherence to site
    safety protocols.
Delivery and Installation
Commissioning
  • Perform Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), including:
    • Primary and secondary injection testing of protection
      relays.
    • Functional tests of circuit breakers and interlocking
      systems.
    • Verification of voltage, current, and control circuit
      continuity.
  • Simulate fault conditions to ensure the protection system
    operates as designed.
  • Conduct final load testing under operational conditions.
Commissioning
Documentation and Handover
  • Provide detailed documentation, including as-built
drawings, test reports, and operation manuals.
  • Train client personnel on switchgear operation, safety
    procedures, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Hand over the fully operational system with warranty and
